Ex-president H.E.P Maumoon Abdull Qayyoom's son Mr.Qassan Maumoon.DRP last presidential candidate & ex-president who ruled Maldives for las 30 years has very healthy relationship with Indian CONGRESS I. If DRP injects professional advise & proper training from CONGRESS I ,DRP will make deferences among any other parties since they have futurestic team including QASSAN MAUMOON.
The DRP young parliament group has new young bloods such as MAHLOOF, NIHAAN ,ALHAAN & ALI WAHEED they have caliber of line up behind QASSAN MAUMOON as a there new Leader who can lead DRP.
The track record has shown the DRP nepotism challenges to overcome leadership issues in reality.
During ex-H.E.P Maumoon Abdull Qayyoom terms of office Mr.Iliyas Ibrahim has won the hearts & mind of grassroots of Maldivian in 1998. If Qayyoom expected those days in reality that may be a one model or one option to be a president of Maldives in 2008. If Qayyoom has given this oportunity to Mr.ILIYAS IBRAHIM in past ,Qayyoom will have that caliber of winning 2008 election, even by competing with ANNI, Hassan & Qasim.
This is very good case studies & lessons from past in modern political history. The OTHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT in DRP politics has serious issues.
If DRP plays winning game as opposition with PA ,there collision will remains as a SPIN BALL in politics. Why Qassaan Maumoon has sacrifice his political virgin by competing with candidates like Musthafa. ? It is not a difficult GAME to be a popular or famous in Maldives, this can be done in a better way.
The PA Mr.Yameen is drawing similar parallels like Mr.ILYAS Ibrabim case during those days to create more challenges in DRP. Qassan cannot be grant for PA to win Yaameen's political objective by the name of opposition.
Yameen exactly, not bad for leadership management & economic issues specially for country like Maldives, that does not means he is OK for PA or DRP presidential candidate.
If Yameen idealogy is positive to work cover up model behind Qassan, this will make huge competition among Maldivian Politicians.
The BAD remains as BAD for ever & GOOD remains as GOOD for ever. Ex-president Qayyoom cannot send behind bar & the reality is H.E.P Mohamed Nasheed is not in POLITICAL MOOD to do so.
Look at the Ibrahim Nasir same model applies but most of Maldivian has soft corner for him because of country's independence which has taken place during his terms of office.
The PLOTE TERROR attack on (3rd Nov 1988) has cosmetic & dramatic feels specially in geopolitical level , but Qayyoom has won the battle by not loosing many things.
If third party has taken political advantages during that time (3rd Nov 1988) our independence remain as a questionable & political instability may become poor & week.
Maldivian population will be positive to forgive Qayyoom.
The Maldivians & Maldives are willing to forgive him wholeheartedly. Thats why Maldivians are proud to be a DHIVEHIN & thats why we are UNIQUE in many ways in the world as MUSLIM Community. This will take place I am very sure.
The most of Maldivians may not be well inform, how the reseachers & tex books refers about been a president for 30 years may describe as a DICTATOR.
In the system of Roman Republic the Roman dictator described a person that assumed temporally responsibility for the state, esp. during the war. It used to be 6 months.
The same meaning in Poland, was used in modern times, especially during frequent rebellions. One person was usually taking full responsibility for the authorities. In some cases, the person was titled dictator:
The Dictator in Modern Times.
Many dictators wear elaborate military uniforms with many decorations.
The Maldivian has seen Qayyoom with this mentioned uniform.

We shall keep Qayyoom as respectable figure in Maldives but he should RETIRE from politics accordingly. Qassan's political MANTO will be Qayyoom that will make more benefitial to Maldives & Maldivians for ever.
